A big Easter for NSW Police | The Grenfell Record



NSW Police issued 5,411 speed infringements, conducted 129,589 breath tests and charged 310 people for drink driving across the state over the weekend as part of Operation Easter 2021.

In the Southern Region police issued 63 restrain infringements, 26 mobile phone infringements, 1322 speed infringements, 23,634 breath tests, 58 drink driving charges.

There were also two fatal crashes resulting in the death of four people and 46 reported major crashes resulting in 20 people being injured.

In the Western Region police issued 67 restraint infringements, 12 mobile phone infringements, 744 speed infringements, conducted 14,910 breath tests, charged 39 drink driving offenders and had 22 major crashes with seven people injured.
